Separate center roof paneling - AR65.10-P-1000-02SC

  1. SPECIAL TOOL Insert spacer blocks on undamaged side of roof duct between center roof paneling (1) and side roof paneling and adjust dimension.

    IMPORTANT So that the middle roof paneling (1) can be fitted with the adjusted SPECIAL TOOL spacer blocks during installation.

  2. Mark position on vehicle and dimension of SPECIAL TOOL spacer blocks.
  3. Expose spot welds on center roof paneling (1) and cut out (areas A, B, C and D).

  4. Expose MIG weld seam on center roof paneling (1) and cut along broken lines (areas E, F, G and H).
  5. Remove damaged center roof paneling (1)

  6. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas on one side from bottom using round wire brush (areas K, L, M and N).
  7. Grind all other mating surfaces in cross-hatched areas on one side using round wire brush.
  8. Remove grinding and drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  9. Coat insides of spot weld flange with zinc dust paint (all cross-hatched areas except K, L, M and N).
