	Remove
1	Adjust driver seat to the rear
2	Remove left front and rear door sill
3	Loosen left front edge guard in the area of the A-pillar cover and in the area of the door sill
4	Remove left A-pillar cover in footwell
5	Remove cover below left of instrument panel
6	Remove left front floor covering in footwell
7	Release COMAND controller unit

		Do not detach wiring harnesses.
8.1	Remove left and right trunk lining	Model 204.0/3

8.2	Remove left and right-hand cargo area lining	Model 204.2

9.1	Remove handle strip from trunk lid	Model 204.0/3 Remove the trunk lid cover completely. The trunk lid handle strip is no longer required.
9.2	Remove handle strip for liftgate	Model 204.2 Remove trunk lid trim assembly. The trunk lid handle strip is no longer required.
10	Remove seat cushion in the rear

12	Remove paneling next to left rear seat
13	Remove headliner	Model 204.2

14	Disconnect the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module in the trunk and place to one side

18	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via vehicle documentation system (VeDoc)	Add:  CODE 218 (Reversing camera)
19	Document retrofitted equipment in VeDoc	Attach a note "Reversing camera retrofitted as per AN54.65-P-0030CW " under field organization texts to KG54.
20	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle using vehicle identification number (VIN)
21	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	The following control units must be coded with XENTRY using SCN: "Central gateway (CGW)" "Front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module" "COMAND controller unit"
22	Disconnect diagnostic system

23	Perform function test
