Location 

The rear SAM control unit is located in the rear right of the luggage compartment.

Task 

The rear SAM control unit is connected to the interior CAN for the exchange of data.

Limit switches supply systems and control units with voltage to match the function sequence. Requests are conveyed to the rear SAM control unit via the interior CAN, the on-board electrical system LIN, the rear SAM LIN or via read-in switches and sensors.

The individual components are protected via fuses contained in the fuse and relay block.

• Heated rear window
