	Checking
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
		Before opening the hydraulic circuit of the Active Body Control (ABC) clean the area around the separation point thoroughly. Even minute particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can result in malfunctions and damage to the ABC system.
1	Unload the vehicle	The fluid level can only be measured correctly when the vehicle is ready to drive and unladen.
2	Raise the vehicle level when the engine is running and lower to the normal level	To do this, press the level control switch (S6/2s10) repeatedly. The indicator lamp in the level adjustment switch (S6/2s10) must go out.
3	Pull dipstick (1) out of the expansion reservoir (2) and wipe with a lint free cloth
4	Push the dipstick (1) into the expansion reservoir (2), pull out, and read off fluid level on the dipstick (1)	Hold dipstick (1) in vertical position. Otherwise measurement errors can occur. The fluid level must be within the area shown hatched.
5	Correct the fluid level in the expansion reservoir (2) if necessary	Use only the funnel for refilling. Clean funnel before use and do not use to fill with other operating fluids. Otherwise the ABC system may suffer malfunctions and damage. If the fluid level is too high, extract fluid down to "MAX" marking. If the fluid level is too low, determine cause and eliminate subject to a separate order.
