	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Temporarily store basic data from RCP [HBF] control unit (N72/2) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the RCP [HBF] control unit (N72/2). Transfer the temporarily stored basic data to the new RCP [HBF] control unit (N72/2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove audio/video controller control unit in rear compartment		AR82.60-P-2000SX
3	Remove bolts (3)
4	Lift center armrest trim (2), turn it over and disconnect electrical connector from RCP [HBF] control unit (N72/2)
5	Cover center armrest trim (2) with a clean rag and unclip control knob (1) upwards	Unclip control knob (1) carefully otherwise the center armrest trim (2) may be damaged.
		Replace control knob (1). See: ↓	Figure
		Replace control knob of rear control panel control unit	AR54.21-P-1266-01SX
6	Remove bolts (4) and remove RCP [HBF] control unit (N72/2) from center armrest trim (2)
7	Install in the reverse order
