	Remove/install
1	Open engine hood
2	Perform disable for the high-voltage on-board electrical system		AR54.10-P-1150SXH
		After completing the work, attach initial startup event log together with the power disable event log to the vehicle file.
3	Drain air conditioning system		AR83.30-P-1760SX
4	Detach air conditioning system extraction, recycling and charging unit for refrigerant R134a
5	Remove fan cowl and attach guard plate		AR20.40-P-6800SX
	Guard plate for radiator/condenser		WF58.50-P-0110-01A
6	Unclip air pump switchover valve from bracket, disconnect vacuum line and set aside with electrical line still connected		AR14.30-P-7255SX
7	Detach electric air pump with bracket and fix in place on engine		AR14.30-P-7251SX
8	Remove vacuum pump (M56)		AR43.05-P-1320SXH
9	Unclip retaining clip of electrical control line from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)
10	Detach electrical control line from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)
11	Detach high-voltage line (1) from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)	Seal the electrical line connections with new or clean protective covers.

12	Detach refrigerant line (4) from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) and seal line connections	The line connections at the refrigerant line (4) and the electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) must be sealed. Otherwise penetrating dirt and moisture will damage the components that are connected to the refrigerant circuit. Seal the refrigerant line (4) using protective covers. Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line (4) and moisten with compressor oil.

13	Detach refrigerant line (3) from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) and seal line connections	The line connections at the refrigerant line (4) and the electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) must be sealed. Otherwise penetrating dirt and moisture will damage the components that are connected to the refrigerant circuit. Seal refrigerant line (3) using protective covers. Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line (3) and moisten with compressor oil.

15	Detach double clamp (7) of oil cooling line (9) from bracket (10) of electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)	Bolt, clamp of oil cooler oil line to bracket	*BA27.55-P-1005-01D

17	Turn electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) and remove all screws/bolts (6)	Position bottom screw/bolt (6) at electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) before installation.
18	Remove electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5) from engine compartment toward top
19	Drain compressor oil from electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)	When replacing the electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5). Measure and note quantity of drained compressor oil. Replace the drained and noted quantity of compressor oil with new compressor oil.
20	Install in the reverse order
21	Connect Star Diagnosis and break in electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5)	When replacing the electric refrigerant compressor (A9/5).
