	Remove

1	Remove trim in trunk	Model 221.1 without  code (Z07) Top protection. It is not necessary to remove the left lining in the trunk.	AR68.30-P-4600SX
2	Disconnect rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module and pull backwards	Do not disconnect electrical lines.	AR54.21-P-1258SX
3	Disconnect on-board electrical system battery	Vehicles up to 1.6.08 without  code (809) Model year 2009. Do not disconnect electrical lines.	AR54.10-P-0009SX

6	Remove right backrest side paneling	Only on vehicles with  code (223) Rear bench seat with electrically adjustable outer seats with PRE-SAFE positioning function for outer seats and outer head restraints.
7	Remove insulation mat under rear seat
8	Remove inner door sill moldings	Model 221.1 without  code (Z07) Top protection. The inner door sill moldings are discontinued parts.	AR68.30-P-4100SX
9	Loosen B-pillar trim at bottom	The top B-pillar paneling and the belt end fittings at the front seats do not have to be removed.	AR68.30-P-4700SX
	Install
10	Retrofit wiring harness for illuminated door sills		AZ82.20-P-0001-04SXA
11	Install remaining parts	Replace the non-illuminated door sill moldings with the front illuminated door sill moldings (3) and the rear illuminated door sill moldings (4). Wrap felt tape around connectors of front illuminated door sill moldings (3) and rear illuminated door sill moldings (4) and route below floor covering.
12	Retrofit outer door sills		AZ68.30-P-0005-01SXA
		Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
13	Carry out function check	The front illuminated door sill moldings (3) or rear illuminated door sill moldings (4) are activated for approx. 5 min by opening the corresponding door.
14	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach "Illuminated door sill moldings retrofitted as per AZ82.20-P-0001SXB " note under field organization texts to DG 68.
