1 Remove rear axle differential (50)   AR35.31-P-0520SZ 
2 Remove bolts (53s) from extension bracket (53) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 216, 221 without code (Z07) Top protection *BA35.10-P-1005-01M 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Model 221 with code (Z07) Top protection *BA35.10-P-1005-01O 
3 Detach heat sink from differential (50) Model 216.379, 221.179  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA35.31-P-1004-02G 
4 Remove bolts (52s) and remove end cover (52). IMPORTANT Loosen end cap with screwdriver or assembly lever. Do not damage sealing surfaces.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA35.31-P-1001-02G 
5 Clean sealing surfaces on differential (50) and end cover (52) Cleaner from package *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
6 Apply sealant to sealing surface on end cover (52) Sealant *BR00.45-Z-1013-01A

7 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
8 Check oil level in rear axle center assembly (50) and correct if necessary   AR35.31-P-0520-03SX

9 Check differential (50) for leaks
