	Removing
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position
2	Remove engine cover		AR01.10-P-2405SXI
3	Remove engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623SXI
4	Loosen poly-V-belt (1)	To relieve tension at poly-V-belt (1), turn tensioning device (2) in direction of arrow.
	Pin for locking poly-V-belt tensioning device	Engine 642.930/932 in model 221	WF58.50-P-1325-02A
5	Remove poly-V-belt (1)
	Checking
6	Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device (2) for damage and dirt	In the event of damage to belt pulley or tensioning device (2), these must be replaced.
7	Check poly-V-belt (1)	In the event of wear and tear or damage, poly-V-belt (1) must be replaced.
	Check poly-V-belt in visible range for wear	Engine 642.930/932 in model 221.022/080/122/180	AP13.22-P-1352SXI
	Install
8	Fit on poly-V-belt (1)	Do not use belt wax or any similar products. When fitting the poly-V-belt (1), the routing diagram must be observed, see: ↓

9	Install engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623SXI
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Carry out engine test run
11	Reinstall engine cover		AR01.10-P-2405SXI
12	Close engine hood
