Remove/install fire extinguishing system temperature sensor - AR86.10-P-0102MBA

MODEL 220.1/8 up to 14.4.04 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring with CODE (Z07) Top protection with fire extinguishing system, fire extinguishing system motor temperature sensor

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
NOTES Danger of actuating fire extinguishing system when the work sequence is not observed.    
1 Ignition Off, detach transmitter key from the electronic ignition switch control unit    
2 Remove fuses no. 54 and no. 58 from rear fuse and relay module IMPORTANT The rear fuse and relay module is located below the right rear seat

REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE   Fuse assignment of rear fuse and relay box GF54.15-P-1256-01MB
3 Open engine hood IMPORTANT See Operator's Manual  
4.1 Disconnect engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65x1) from engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) When removing fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at top of left spring strut tower
INSTALLATION NOTES Ensure that the fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65x1) is free of moisture and dirtThe insulating tubing of the connection line should be seated correctly in the plug housing; if necessary, fasten insulating tubing Danger of erroneous actuation.
 
5.1 Unscrew counter-nut and remove fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at top on spring strut tower When removing fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at top on left spring strut tower
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the marking (red dot) on the fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) points upward following installation
 
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
6.1 Raise vehicle. When removing fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at bottom left on front wheel carrier
NOTES Do not damage extinguishing agent lines on fire extinguishing system when jacking up vehicle.
 
7.1 Disconnect engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65x1) from engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) When removing fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at bottom left on front wheel carrier.
INSTALLATION NOTES Ensure that the fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65x1) is free of moisture and dirt. The grommet of the connection line should be seated properly in the connector housing, if necessary fasten grommet. Danger of erroneous actuation.
 
8.1 Unscrew counter-nut and remove fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at bottom left on front wheel carrier When removing fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) at bottom left on front wheel carrier
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the marking (red dot) on the fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) points downward after installation
 
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Perform self-test for fire extinguishing system   AR86.10-P-0101-01MB
