| 1 | Disconnect battery ground line | AR54.10-P-0003SX | |
| 2 | Move the front passenger seat into the rearmost position | ||
| 3 | Remove floor mat and fold back floor covering (1) in front passenger footwell | ||
| 4 | Unscrew plastic nuts (3) and tilt step plate (4) in the direction of the arrow | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew nuts (2) | ||
| 7 | Remove pyrotechnical separating element (K88) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Connect Star Diagnosis, read out fault memory and erase if necessary | When replacing the pyrotechnical separating element (K88). | |
