	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.
		Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition.
1	Remove front wheel
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
2	Remove bolt (1) from front axle shaft (2)		*BA33.30-P-1001-02F
3	Detach rpm sensor (L6/1 or L6/2) from steering knuckle (3)		AR42.30-P-0712SX
4	Remove brake disc (5)		AR42.10-P-0220SX
5	Unclip electrical feed line for rpm sensor (L6/1 or L6/2) from cable bracket (7)
6	Detach tie rod (8) from steering knuckle (3)		AR46.40-P-0200-02SX

11	Tilt steering knuckle (3) outward to side while moving front axle shaft (2) out of front axle shaft flange, and lower to remove	Do not damage the rubber boots of the front axle shaft (2).

13	Detach cable bracket (7) from steering knuckle (3)	When replacing steering knuckle (3)
	Checking
14	Check rubber boot and ball joint of tie rod (8) for wear and damage	Replace tie rod (8) if necessary.	AR46.40-P-0200SX
15	Check rubber boot and ball joint of torque strut (18) for wear and damage	If necessary replace the radius rod (18).	AR33.15-P-0160SX
16	Check rubber boot and supporting ball joint of spring control arm (17) for damage	Replace spring control arm (17) if necessary.	AR33.15-P-0170SYZ
17	Check rubber boot and upper ball joint of upper transverse control arm (10) for damage	Install new upper transverse control arm (10) if necessary.	AR33.20-P-0500SX
18	Install in the reverse order
