Remove/install power steering pump - AR46.30-P-0500SYZ

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
1	Remove the left engine intake air duct	See remove/install air filter housing:
		Engine 272, 273	AR09.10-P-1150SX
		Engine 642	AR09.10-P-1150SXI
2	Remove bolt (7s), disconnect Henn couplings (7k) and coolant hose (6) and remove upper coolant pipe (7) See Open Henn coupling.		AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
3	Remove poly-V belt	Engine 272, 273	AR13.20-P-0001SX
		Engine 642	AR13.22-P-1202SXI
4	Detach hose (4) from power steering pump (5)	Plug openings.

5	Detach high-pressure expansion hose (1) from power steering pump (5)	Plug openings. Install new O-ring.

6	Detach power steering pump (5); to do this, unscrew bolts (2, 3)		*BA46.30-P-1001-01F

7	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Check the steering system for leaks when the engine is running.	Carry out visual inspection.
