Remove/install expansion reservoir - AR46.25-P-1000SXI

MODEL 221 with ENGINE 642 except CODE (487) Active Body Control (ABC) without electrohydraulic power steering (EHPS)

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1	Remove engine trim panel		AR01.10-P-2405SXI
2	Remove expansion clip from coolant expansion reservoir
3	Remove coolant expansion reservoir	Place coolant expansion reservoir aside.
4	Suction off steering gear oil out of the expansion reservoir (1)	Hand pump	Figure
5	Disconnect return line (2) on expansion reservoir (1)	Seal return line (2) and opening on expansion reservoir (1). Replace clamp
		Set of stop plugs	Figure
6	Detach electrical line (3) on expansion reservoir (1)	Check clip and replace if necessary
7	Remove bolts (4) on expansion reservoir (1)	Bolt, expansion reservoir to cylinder head cover/oil filter housing	*BA46.30-P-1020-01D
8	Disconnect line of expansion reservoir (5) on power steering pump on expansion reservoir (1)	Plug openings.
		Set of stop plugs	Figure
9	Remove expansion reservoir (1)
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Fill power steering pump and bleed		AR46.30-P-0010SX
		Power steering	*BF46.20-P-1001-01A
	Checking
12	Carry out visual inspection for leaks when engine is running
