Notes on squib on extinguishing agent tank - AH86.10-P-0001-04LFS

MODEL 222 with CODE Z07 (Top protection) with CODE Z21 (Fire extinguishing system)
- Squibs (R42/1) are pyrotechnically objects for subclass T1 technical applications and must be kept locked away and out of reach of children.
- Always store squibs (R42/1) in closed original packaging and remove immediately prior to installation. Observe the notes printed on the original packaging concerning protective equipment, installation and disposal, otherwise correct functioning of the squibs (R42/1) and work safety is not ensured.
- Keep squibs (R42/1) away from moisture, temperatures above 90 °C, friction, electrostatic discharge or radio waves.
- Squibs (R42/1) must not be machined, dropped or subjected to shocks.
- When testing squibs (R42/1), ensure that they are mounted properly on the extinguishing agent tanks.
- Do not test squibs (R421) with measuring instruments or test lamps, because they can be triggered at a measuring current of ≥ 0.013 A. They should be checked only with the warning buzzer of the fire extinguishing system, i.e. via the fire extinguishing system self-test.
