General

Tools that are metallic or equipped with fixed magnets, will generate magnetic fields around them. Magnetic fields generated by magnetic screwdriver tips or bar magnets may be strong enough to cause sustainable damage to electronic components such as radar sensors.

Measures for activities

When working directly on electronic components such as radar sensors or in their immediate environment, care must be taken to ensure that tools with magnetic properties are not used.
