Assignment of pistons to cylinder bore - AH03.10-B-0001-02A

IMPORTANT Pay attention, during the piston assemblage (1) to have the "B" arrow, located on the top, facing the engine's front part (water pump side) and to keep the connecting rod (2) "A" groove side, (which serve for the shells fastening), facing the exhaust manifold (engine's left side).

NOTES Consequently, in order to assemble the piston (1) in the connecting rod (2), pay attention to keep the connecting rod's "A" grooves (2) and the piston's skirt bevel, relief to avoid contact between the piston and the oil injector (3), are kept facing the same side.

NOTES The connecting rods installed in a same engine must pertain to the same weight group. The weight groups are identified in the connecting rod's cap wit the "C" codes, as indicated below:
