Notes on sealant path for timing case cover - AH01.40-P-1000-01MMB

IMPORTANT The sealant must be applied only to the specified surfaces in the form of a bead. This is with a height and width of 2.0 mm (+ 0.2 mm) in the area of contact areas with coolant and with a height and width of 1.3 mm (+ 0.2 mm) in the area of contact areas with oil.

IMPORTANT The sealing surfaces must be cleaned.

The sealant bead must not be spread.

Use only the sealant indicated in repair materials.

Mount timing case cover within 10 minutes after application of the sealant.

NOTES Do not seal left upper coolant bore (1) to cylinder crankcase.

Otherwise the coolant circuit function may be impaired.
