Clean sealing surfaces, particularly in area of grooves, because these serve as storage when the bottom section of the crankcase spans. Apply sealant on marked lines with a bead thickness of 2.0 mm ±0.5 mm; attach bottom section of crankcase, within 10 min. after applying sealant.
Do not spread sealing bead. Use only the sealant listed in the repair instructions.
