When removing the remaining glue, films, trim strips, etc. using rubber disks, the following points must be remembered:
- Wear safety glasses and hearing protection
- Use the rubber disk with an electric or pneumatic drill
- Recommended rotational speed of 2000 to 2500 rpm to prevent any smearing of adhesive residue or films
- Only apply slight pressure to the surface that is being repaired using the surface conditioning disk and do not work at the same location for too long, as otherwise excessive heat generation could damage the base material or the paint
- The rotational direction of the surface conditioning disk should be opposite to the working direction
- When using on water-based paints, discoloration can occur in individual cases. In this case, perform tests at hidden locations
