Remove/install belt pulley/vibration damper - AR03.30-P-1600SMG

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Remove front engine cover	Do not tilt front engine cover, but lift upwards vertically otherwise the retaining lugs can break off.
2	Remove electric fan		AR20.40-P-5000SMG
3	Remove poly-V belt (3)		AR13.22-P-1202SMG
4	Remove center bolt (2)	The center bolt (2) should always be replaced. To set the rotation angle, make two guide marks on the counterholder (4). Use extension.

5	Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (1) from crankshaft	The groove on belt pulley/vibration damper (1) must engage in feather key of the crankshaft.
	Checking
6	Check tread on crankshaft radial sealing ring at hub of belt pulley/vibration damper (1)	Check for scoring and galling; if necessary: ↓ Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (1).
7	Replace front crankshaft radial sealing ring	Only when replacing belt pulley/vibration damper (1) or in the event of a leak at crankshaft radial sealing ring.	AR03.20-P-3000SMG
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Check engine oil level and replenish oil if necessary
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Conduct engine test run and check engine for leaks	In the event of oil loss determine and eliminate cause, otherwise malfunctions, transmission damage, and serious environmental pollution may occur.
