Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

If the tilting mechanism is damaged or the tilting system is used incorrectly, serious injuries may be caused when tilting the cab.
Safety precautions/instructions
Before tilting cab:
- Shut off engine.
- Apply parking brake.
- Take appropriate measures to prevent vehicle from rolling away.
- In all vehicles with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic transmission, the neutral position is to be engaged.
- Attach safety rope if this is specified in the vehicle's operator's manual.
- Remove all loose objects (e.g. cans, bottles, tools, bags, etc.) from cab.
When tilting cab:
- Take measures to prevent unauthorized access to the tilting area and, in particular, the tilting mechanism (e.g. with barriers or a watchman).
- Never perform work under the cab while it is partially tilted.
- Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.
