Remove/install camshaft Hall sensor - AR15.10-P-2000SX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front engine cover (2) and left or right engine air intake duct (1) See Remove air filter housing. AR09.10-P-1150SX
2 Detach coolant pipe and lay to one side with attached hoses Vehicles with 4MATIC, when removing exhaust camshaft Hall sensor, left (B6/6)  
See "Removing power steering expansion reservoir". AR46.25-P-1000SX
3 Disconnect plug from each camshaft Hall sensor.    
4 Undo bolt (3) and remove each camshaft Hall sensor from front cover on cylinder head INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA15.10-P-1002-03E 
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Read out fault memory and erase if necessary    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

7 Conduct engine test run and check the engine for leaks while it is running
