	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Notes on threaded connections with aluminum screws		AH00.00-P-0006-01RM
1	Remove rail		AR07.03-P-1010MMB
2	Remove ignition coils		AR15.12-P-2003MM
3	Detach engine wiring harness on cylinder head cover (1)		AR01.00-P-2410-02MMB
4	Detach oil lines for turbocharger on cylinder head cover (1) and place to one side		AR18.30-P-6850MMB
5	Remove partial load crankcase ventilation (5) on cylinder head cover (1)
6	Remove bracket (3) on cylinder head cover (1)
7	Remove lifting eye (4) on cylinder head cover (1)
8	Remove bolt for vacuum pump on cylinder head cover (1)		AR43.05-P-1320MMB
9	Remove front cover at cylinder head (2)		AR01.30-P-5700MBL
10	Loosen bolts (1s) for cylinder head cover (1) in the reverse order of the tightening procedure and remove them	Replace bolts (1s).	AR01.20-P-5014-03MMB

11	Carefully pry off cylinder head cover (1) from cylinder head (2)	Do not  pound in prying tool between cylinder head cover (1) and cylinder head (2) otherwise the sealing surfaces will be damaged. Check for correct seating of the cap (6) of the exhaust camshaft between cylinder head cover (1) and cylinder head (2). Apply sealant to cylinder head cover (1): ↓
		Observe notes on sealant path for cylinder head cover (1).	AH01.30-P-1000-08MM

	Checking
12	Check camshaft mounts in cylinder head cover (1) and camshafts for galling and score marks
	Clean
13	Clean sealing surfaces at cylinder head (2) and cylinder head cover (1)	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

		Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
14	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 15	Conduct engine test run and check engine for leaks while it is running
