Remove/install front overhead control panel - AR82.20-P-1100GQ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Perform initial startup of overhead control panel control unit (N70) MODEL 166, 204.9
with CODE 882 (Interior motion sensor)
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with code (889) KEYLESS-GO: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).  
3 Unclip cover (6) at headliner (2) MODEL 204.9
NOTESSPECIAL TOOL Carefully position assembly wedge (01) between cover (6) and headliner (2).
Otherwise damage to the headliner (2) occurs.

4 Unclip overhead control panel control unit (N70) at rear at headliner (2) NOTESSPECIAL TOOL Carefully position assembly wedge (01) between overhead control panel (N70) and headliner (2).
Otherwise damage to the headliner (2) occurs.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that clamps (4) are seated correctly at overhead control panel control unit (N70).

5 Disconnect electrical lines (5) at overhead control panel control unit (N70)    
6 Unclip overhead control panel control unit (N70) at front at headliner (2) and remove IMPORTANT To do so, pull overhead control panel control unit (N70) toward rear out of mounts of guides (3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that guides (3) are seated correctly in headliner (2).
 
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Carry out function check
