Notes on installing brake wear indicator contact sensors - AH42.10-P-0003-01CW

MODEL 117, 156, 166, 172, 176, 204, 205, 207, 212, 217, 218, 222, 231, 246, 292

There is one variant on the front axle:

One brake wear sensor on the right-hand side of the vehicle.

The following variants exist at the rear axle:

No brake wear sensor or one brake wear sensor on the right-hand side of the vehicle.

When new brake pads are installed, the brake wear sensor must be mounted again at the same position.

The right front brake wear sensor (2) or the right front brake wear sensor electrical connection (1) must be routed or mounted, as shown in the illustration.

The right rear brake wear sensor (3) or the right rear brake wear sensor electrical connection (4) must be routed or mounted, as shown in the illustration.

For reasons of replacement part simplification, the brake pads must be installed so that the brake wear sensors can be installed in the corresponding assembly position.

The corresponding assembly position of the brake wear sensors is given in the list below.
