Location
The yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration is located in the vehicle footwell at the front right.
Tasks
The yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration measures the turn rate around the vertical axis.
The integrated lateral acceleration sensor (AY sensor) measures the lateral acceleration.
The integrated longitudinal acceleration sensor (Ax sensor) detects longitudinal inclination.
The signals are read in by the Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4) via dynamics CAN (CAN H).
