	Remove/install
1	Remove transmission	Transmission 716.6 Transmission 722.9:	AR26.10-P-0020CW
		Vehicles without 4MATIC	AR27.10-P-0500CV
		Vehicles with 4MATIC	AR27.10-P-0500CWX
2	Remove clutch	Vehicles with manual transmission	AR25.10-P-0050CW
3	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear	Vehicles without 4MATIC	AR03.30-P-5000CV
3	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear	Vehicles with 4MATIC	AR03.30-P-5000CWX
4	Remove bolts (1a) from drive plate (1) or two- mass flywheel	If no tightening angle wrench is available, bolts can be torqued further by the specified angle in a single operation using a wrench and tommy lever (1a). Do not use a flexi-rod torque wrench for tightening to angle degrees in order to avoid any angle errors.

5	Detach drive plate (1) or two-mass flywheel from crankshaft flange	The straight pin (2) determines the installation position of the drive plate (1) or of the two-mass flywheel.
	Checking
6	Check threaded union (3) in drive plate (1)	Vehicles with automatic transmission Check for damage and tight seating; replace drive plate (1) as required.
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Carry out first initialization and then sensor rotor adaptation using STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing Menu guidance: Engine control module Adaptations Learning processes
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
