	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Transfer basic data of sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) to Star Diagnosis	When replacing sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Transfer basic data from Star Diagnosis to sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 meters).
3	Open load compartment floor (1)
4	Remove cover (2)	Ensure that paneling (2) is correctly seated.
5	Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5) and optical fiber connector (6) from sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3)	Do not kink optical fiber, route over sharp edges or route in smaller radii than 25 mm. Otherwise the optical fiber may be damaged.
6	Unscrew nuts (3) and remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3)
7	Install in the reverse order
