| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector (5) | ||
| 3 | Remove bolt (1) | ||
| 4 | Lift catch hooks (arrows A) and remove upper paneling (2) upward | Figure | |
| 5 | Remove screws/bolts (3) | ||
| 6 | Unlock electrical connector (6) on driver exit lamp (E17/9) or passenger exit lamp (E17/10) and disconnect | MODEL 166 | |
| 7 | Unscrew bolt (7) and carefully disengage camera, 360° camera for left outside mirror (B84/7) or camera 360° camera for right outside mirror (B84/8) from lower paneling (4) on outside rearview mirror | MODEL 166 with CODE 501(360 degree camera) |

| 8 | Unlock catch hooks (arrows B) and remove lower paneling (4) downward | Figure | |
