Replace shock absorber mount on lower wishbone - AR32.25-P-0107GZA

MODEL 164, 166 Rear axle

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Notes on repair work on suspension components   AH00.00-P-0100-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Raise vehicle using vehicle lift until the wheels are clear of the ground   AR00.60-P-1000GZ
2 Empty AIRmatic using STAR DIAGNOSIS    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS MODEL 166
with CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS)) Rear axle
NOTES
Empty and fill the AIRmatic as per the specifications; the complete wheels must not be touching the ground.
The air springs can otherwise be damaged and fail later.

3 Support lower transverse control arm (2) NOTES
While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches.
Otherwise the service life of the parts will be reduced.
Transmission jack gotis://H_00.10_01.  0
Transmission platform gotis://A_25/35/49_02.  0
 
4 Remove bolt (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Self-locking nut, shock absorber to spring control arm *BA32.25-P-1001-03K 
5 Lower the lower control arm (2) IMPORTANT Lower the lower control arm (2) until the shock absorber mount (3) is accessible.  
6 Press out shock absorber mount (3) NOTES
When installing the shock absorber mount (3) the pressure of the hand pump must not exceed 140 bar.
Otherwise the shock absorber mount (3) may be damaged.
IMPORTANT Press shock absorber mount (3) out to rear. To press out, use the parts of the removal and insertion tool (4) marked with E and B.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Press in shock absorber mount (3) to front.
Model 164: To press in, use the separate parts marked with E and D and the threaded ball of the removal and insertion tool (4).
Model 166: Use separate part E and SPECIAL TOOL sleeve for pressing in.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Align cutouts on separate part D or SPECIAL TOOL sleeve to mold joints on lower control arm (2).

7 Install in the reverse order
