Remove/install hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization - AR32.34-P-0030MLJ

MODEL 166, 157 with ENGINE 278 with CODE (468) USA version

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
NOTES Notes on active roll stabilization   AH32.34-P-0001-01A
1 Extract oil from expansion reservoir for Active Roll Stabilization hydraulic pump (7) SPECIAL TOOL Fig 4
2 Detach poly-V belt (3) from hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8)   AR13.20-P-0001MLJ
3 Detach vent line for charge air cooler (4) from bracket (2) of hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8)    
4 Detach electrical connection from intake throttle valve for hydraulic pump on Active Roll Stabilization, unclip from bracket (2) and set aside    
5 Detach feed line for Active Roll Stabilization    
(5) from cylinder head cover and front cover 6 Detach feed line for hydraulic pump on Active Roll Stabilization (5) from hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) and set aside IMPORTANT Seal openings using stop plugs.

7 Detach pressure line (6) from hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) to valve unit on hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) IMPORTANT Detach pressure line (6) at the earliest 10 minutes after switching off the engine as only then is the hydraulic pump for the Active Roll Stabilization system completely unpressurized.
IMPORTANTSPECIAL TOOL Seal openings using stop plugs.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing rings of pressure line (7).
 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.00-P-1009-01A

8 Remove bolts (1) of hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) from timing case cover and cylinder crankcase, remove hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) upwards TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.00-P-1002-01A 
9 Remove bracket (2) from hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) IMPORTANT When replacing hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8).  
10 Detach belt pulley (9) from hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) IMPORTANT When replacing hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8).  
11 Install in the reverse order    
12 Fill and bleed ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM   AR32.34-P-0021GQ 
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

13 Conduct engine test run, while doing so check hydraulic pump for Active Roll Stabilization (8) for proper operation and leaktightness
