| 1 | Remove right air filter housing | AR09.10-P-1150GW | |
| 2 | Remove insulation on right rail | ||
| 3 | Remove air plenum chamber | AR83.10-P-9998GW | |
| 4 | Remove electrical wiring harness from crash plate and remove crash plate | AR07.02-P-1020GW | |
| 5 | Unclip electrical wiring harness and set aside | ||
| 6 | Remove insulation from high-pressure pumps | ||
| 7 | Detach crankcase ventilation pipe (2) on cylinder head cover | ||
| 8 | Detach vacuum line (1a) to charge air manifold | ||
| 9 | Remove screw/bolts (3) on centrifuge cover (1) from below | *BA01.20-P-1001-01L | |
| 10 | Remove centrifuge cover (1) from below | ||
| 11 | Remove screw/bolt for centrifuge at the camshaft | *BA01.20-P-1002-01L | |
| 12 | Remove centrifuge from camshaft | ||
| Checking | |||
| 13 | Check seal and radial shaft sealing ring for wear and damage; replace centrifuge cover (1) if necessary | ||
| 14 | Check centrifuge for wear and damage; replace centrifuge if necessary | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 16 | Check engine oil level; correct if necessary | ||

Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. |
