	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A

	Drain off
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000GG
2	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
3	Remove underride guard	Helper required.
	Drain coolant at radiator (7)
4	Unscrew cap (2) slowly at coolant expansion reservoir (1) and relieve overpressure
5	Drain off coolant	To do this place drain hose (3a) with an inside diameter of 12 mm on the radiator (7), then open the radiator drain screw (3). Catch coolant in a suitable container. Observe regulations to dispose of coolant.
	Drain coolant at low-temperature water circuit additional radiator (8)
6	Unscrew cap (5) slowly at expansion reservoir (4) and relieve overpressure
7	Drain off coolant	To do this open additional radiator drain screw (6). Catch coolant in a suitable container. Observe regulations to dispose of coolant. Replace additional radiator drain screw (6) and seal.
	Pour in
8	Detach drain hose (3a)
9	Tighten down cooler drain screw (3)
10	Tighten down additional radiator drain screw (6)	Drain screw to additional radiator for low-temperature circuit	*BA20.20-P-1003-01O
11	Pour in coolant and bleed cooling system		AR20.00-P-1142-04A

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.
