With CODE 615 (LED high performance headlamp) or CODE 621 (Intelligent Light System (left-hand traffic)) or CODE 622 (Intelligent Light System (right-hand traffic)), shown on left front lamp unit (E1)

	Remove/install
1	Carry out initial startup of left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	When replacing left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).

		Pay attention to "LAM number" string on left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2).
2.1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit	MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
2.2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
3.1	Remove left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2)	MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 614 (Bi-xenon headlamps) MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 618 (Bi-xenon headlamps f. left-side dr. traffic)

3.2	Remove fender liner front section from left or right front fender	MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 615 (Bi-xenon headlamps with active light function) MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 621 (Intelligent Light System (left-hand traffic)) MODEL 218 up to model year 2015 with CODE 622 (Intelligent Light System)

4	Unscrew screws/bolts from left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
5	Detach left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7) far enough from the left front lamp unit (E1) or the right front lamp unit (E2) to gain access to the electrical connectors	Ensure gasket is correctly installed.
6	Disconnect electrical connectors and remove left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
7	Install in the reverse order
