Parking Assist systems, general
The Parking Assist systems support the driver in parking situations in accordance with their configuration either actively or passively.
In both cases, the Parking Assist systems contribute to enhancing ride comfort and road safety.
The parking assistance systems are based on the optical detection of obstacles and on the detection of obstacles via ultrasonic measurement.
The following Parking Assist systems are available :
- Reversing camera, function (with code (218) Reversing camera)
- Parking system, function (with code (235) Active Parking Assist or code (220) PARKTRONIC)
