	Remove/install
1	Turn steering wheel (1) into center position	Front wheels in straight-ahead position.
2	Remove airbag unit from steering wheel (1)	Model 166	AR91.60-P-0660GQ
		Model 172, 218, 231, 212 as of model year 2012 YoM 11	AR91.60-P-0660EL
		Model 212 up to model year 2012 YoM 11	AR91.60-P-0660EW
3	Remove bolt (1s), counterhold steering wheel (1) while doing so	Replace bolt (1s).
		Model 166	*BA46.10-P-1001-02G
		Model 172, 231	*BA46.10-P-1001-02A
		Model 212, 218	*BA46.10-P-1001-02J
4	Disconnect electrical connector (1r)
5	Remove steering wheel (1)	Assign the recess clearances of the serrations (arrows) in the steering wheel (1) to the markings on the steering shaft.
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Conduct a road test	Perform following tests: Steering wheel (1) position: If the steering wheel (1) is crooked, adjust it by max. one tooth. If displacement is more than one tooth, problem-free canceling of flashers is not guaranteed. Supplemental restraint system indicator lamp (SRS): For a full steering angle in both directions, the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) indicator lamp must not light up.
