	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
2	Swivel inside rearview mirror (A67) to one side
3.1	Unclip and remove cover (1)	Model 166.0, 204, 207.3, 212, 218, Model 207.4 without code (513) Speed Limit Assist or code (608) Automatic high beam recognition
3.2	Push cover (1) all the way forward and remove downward	Model 207.4 with code (513) Speed Limit Assist or code (608) Automatic high beam recognition
4	Remove splinter protection	Model 212 with code (Z04) Light armoring

5	Carefully push retaining clips (3) on both sides outwards in direction of the arrow and remove light sensor (B38/1) or rain/light sensor (B38/2)
6	Disconnect electrical connector (2)
7	Remove light sensor (B38/1) or rain/light sensor (B38/2)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Select adaptation of rain sensor, light sensor amplification factor with coding, and windshield variant and enter or perform in vehicle with Star Diagnosis	When replacing light sensor (B38/1) or rain/light sensor (B38/2). Engine hood and driver door must be closed.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
