Notes on cable protection - AH00.19-P-1000-11A
General
An attempt should be made to restore the cable protection to its original condition after all repairs to wiring harnesses.
In areas exposed to particularly high stresses (e.g. dampness, scouring), additional safety precautions may however be required.
Perform the following measures depending on application:
- Protection of repair area with heat-shrinkable tube
- Protection of repair point by corrugated hose.
- Protect repair point by wrapping with fabric tape
