	Remove/install

1	Temporarily store basic data from SDAR control unit (N87/5) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the SDAR control unit (N87/5).
		Transfer the temporarily stored basic data to the new SDAR control unit (N87/5).	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or Keyless-Go start/stop button from EZS control unit	Keyless-Go start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
3	Detach left paneling at side in trunk (1), as shown, and swivel to side until SDAR control unit (N87/5) is accessible	Model 216, 221.0, model 221.1 except code (Z07) Highest protection	AR68.30-P-4600SX
		Model 221.1 with code (Z07) Top protection	AR68.30-P-4600SXS
4	Detach electrical connector (5) and electrical connector with fiber optic cable connector (6)
5	Remove screws/bolts (2) and lift SDAR control unit (N87/5) with bracket (3) until felt adhesive tapes (4) can be removed	Felt adhesive tapes (4) only on model 221.
6	Remove felt adhesive tapes (4) and remove SDAR control unit (N87/5) from trunk	Felt adhesive tapes (4) only on model 221.
7	Remove bracket (3) from SDAR control unit (N87/5)	When replacing SDAR control unit (N87/5) or bracket (3).
8	Install in the reverse order
