	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

2	Release front section offender liner in right front fender
3	Detach pressure line (1) from compressor unit (A9/1)		*BA32.22-P-1004-03D

		If the pressure line connection or pressure line are damaged: ↓

4	Detach intake hose (2) from air filter (3)	Except model 221.095/195
5	Separate electrical connector (5) from (pressure) relief valve (A9/1y1)
6	Separate electrical connector (6) from engine (A9/1m1)
7	Unscrew nuts (4) and remove compressor unit (A9/1)		*BA32.22-P-1003-03D
8	Detach intake hose (2) from compressor unit (A9/1)	Model 221.095/195 Installation:  Check for correct routing and fastening of intake hose.
	Checking
9	Check rubber mounts (7) of compressor unit (A9/1)	Check rubber mounts for hardening and damage and replace if necessary: ↓
		Replace rubber mounts of compressor unit.	AR32.22-P-2011SX
10	Replace air suspension compressor relay	When replacing the compressor unit When replacing the compressor unit, always replace the air suspension compressor relay, because its switching contacts may have been damaged beforehand.

11	Install in the reverse order

	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
