Location 

The suction restrictor valve is located on the tandem pump.

Task 

The suction restrictor valve serves the pressure control in the Active Body Control (ABC) system.

Design 

The suction restrictor valve is a proportioning valve.

Function 

By opening or closing the suction restrictor valve the ABC control unit (N51/2) controls the pressure supply of the ABC system with a constant oil pressure. The suction restrictor valve is closed in a de-energized condition.
