| 1.2 | Release left or right front seat and tilt backwards, leaving wiring harness connected | Model 216 | AR91.10-P-1000SC |
| 2.1 | Remove door sill molding trim | Model 216 | |
| 3 | Remove bolt (1) and air outlet (2) | ||
| 4 | Unclip and remove guide rail (3) | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Fold over front floor covering (4) | ||
| 6.1 | Fold over rear floor covering (5) | Model 221 | |
| 7 | Remove voltage distributor connectors (X30/21, X30/32 or X30/28, X30/33) from eddy (6) | ||
| 8.1 | Raise eddy (6) and pull out of B-pillar air duct (7) | Model 221 | |
| 9 | Remove eddy (6) from air ducts (8) and put down on rear side | ||
| 10 | Detach electrical connector (9) on left B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/33) or on right B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/34) | ||
| 11 | Remove adhesive fleece (10) in area of left B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/33) or right B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/34) | ||
| 12 | Remove bolts (11) and remove left B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/33) or right B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/34) | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 14 | Teach in and normalize left B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/33) or right B-pillar air distribution actuator motor (M16/34) | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||
