Important repair information
Screws/bolts with locking splines, microencapsulated screws/bolts and self-locking nuts are to be replaced after being used once.
When loosening microencapsulated screws/bolts, there is a greater risk of injury due to the sudden break-away torque.
Before new microencapsulated screws/bolts are screwed in, the mating thread must be recut in order to remove all remains of the old thread locking material.
No greases, oils, waxes or other lubricants may be introduced into or applied to the threaded connections and their contact surfaces as otherwise the preload forces no longer correspond to the target specifications.
Threaded connections located in the splash zone are to be preserved with spray wax after
tightening.
