Location 

The parking system control unit is located at the front in the front passenger footwell under the carpet on an equipment carrier.

Task 

The parking system control unit is responsible for the following tasks:

Reading in of sensors 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line 

The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:

Interior CAN (model 204.0/2 up to 28.2.11, model 204.9 up to 31.5.12) 

The following signals are read in over the interior CAN:

Chassis CAN (model 204.0/2 as of 1.3.11, model 204.3, model 204.9 as of 1.6.12) 

The following information is read-in over chassis CAN:

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Controlling functions 

The parking system control unit controls the following functions:

Actuation of components 

The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:

Direct line 

The following components are actuated via direct lines:

Interior CAN 

The following information is sent via the interior CAN:

Chassis CAN 

The following information is sent via the chassis CAN:
