The outside mirrors allow visual traffic monitoring to rear, display of turn signaling and display of status of blind spot assist (TWA) (with code (JA7) Blind spot assist).

- Mirror adjustment raise/lower motor (M21/6m1)
- Mirror adjustment in/out motor (M21/6m2)
- Mirror heater
- Left blind spot assist readiness and warning indicator (with code (JA7) Blind spot assist)
The following components are installed in the passenger outside mirror:
- Passenger outside mirror turn signal lamp (M21/7e1)
- Mirror adjustment raise/lower motor (M21/7m1)
- Mirror adjustment in/out motor (M21/7m2)
- Mirror heater
- Right blind spot assist readiness and warning indicator (with code (JA7) Blind spot assist)
The components are actuated directly by the left front door control unit (N69/1).
