Prepare Complete Outer Corner Pillar Paneling Upper Section - Ar64.30-D-5731-02H

IMPORTANT The following operation steps are shown on the left upper section of the outer corner pillar paneling (1) for model 906.633 and they must be performed in a similar manner for any damage to the right side.

  1. Scribe separation line on outer corner pillar paneling upper section (1) (area A).
  2. Scribe upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) at separating point (area A).

    Dimensions:

  3. Punch holes in upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) with Ø 6 mm (area B).
  4. Punch 6 mm dia. holes at connection (2) (area C).
  5. Scribe separation line on inner panel (3) (area D1 ).

    IMPORTANT Transfer dimension from vehicle.

  6. Cut inner panel (3) at separating point (area D1 ).
  7. Punch 6 mm dia. holes in inner panel (3) (areas D, E and F).

  8. Grind mating surfaces on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  9. Grind crosshatched areas on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) down to bare metal around the holes.
  10. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

  11. Grind mating surfaces at connection (2) and inner panel (3) down to bare metal, in crosshatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  12. Grind crosshatched areas at connection (2) and inner panel (3) down to bare metal, around holes.
  13. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
