Exhaust gas recirculation valve to mixing chamber

	Remove/install
1	Remove bolts (2)
			Figure
2	Unscrew bolts (3) and remove exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4)	Turn exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) counterclockwise when removing mixing chamber (5). Installation:  Unscrew bolts (2, 3) by hand until flange surface make uniform contact.

3	Take off gaskets (6)	Installation:  Replace seals (6)..
	Clean
4	Clean sealing surfaces on mixing chamber (5) and clean housing of exhaust gas recirculation valve (1)
5	Clean sealing surfaces on exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4)	Only if exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) is not replaced.
6	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7	Test run engine and check exhaust gas recirculation pipe (4) for leakage
