Open clutch 

1. Pull catch springs (2) on both sides out of position (arrows A) to the front into position (arrows B) until engages.

   Do not bend or deform the catch springs (2).

   Correct locking upon connecting the charge air hose (1) will no longer be possible otherwise.

   The catch spring (2) must not project out inwards through the opening (arrow C) otherwise the charge air hose (1) will not be fully unlocked.

2. Detach charge air hose (1) from the respective connector.

   Close clutch 

3. Clean connector for charge air hose (1) using rags.
4. Push back catch spring (2) on both sides out of position (arrows B) into the position (arrows A).

   The catch spring (2) must project out of the opening (arrow C) in the charge air hose (1).

5. Place charge air hose (1) on the respective connector.

   The catch spring (2) must lock audibly. Check whether locking is correctly by carefully pulling on charge air hose (1).
