Cut Upper Section On Outer Corner Pillar Paneling - Ar64.30-D-5732-01H

The following operation steps are shown on model 906.633 with high roof on the right side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the left side in the event of damage.

1. Scribe separation lines on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) (areas A and B).

   Scribe upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) parallel to groove (area B).

2. Cut upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) at separating points using body saw (areas A and B).

   Do not cut too deeply. Otherwise panels below can be damaged.

3. Expose spot welds on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) (areas C, D and E).
4. Mill off spot welds on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) (areas C, D and E).
5. Expose weld seams on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) (area E1).
6. Cut weld seams on upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1) (area E1).
7. Remove damaged upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (1).

8. Cut into connecting flange (area A₂ ).
9. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.
10. Remove shavings and drill chips.
11. Place connecting flange on vehicle (area A₁ ).
12. Use chisel to fold over remaining section of upper section of outer corner pillar paneling (3).
